galleon6

Asia Divers was established in 1987 and has since led the way in Puerto Galera and for many years in the Philippines. Located in-house at El Galleon, Asia Divers is the Philippines first PADI/CDC dive center and offers diving options to suit all ability levels.

Asia Divers is now officially registered as the first Dive Center in the Philippines to be able to teach National Geographic courses. They are excited about being commited to advancing a premium-level of adventure and environmental awareness through their educational programs. They feel that they are cultivating an elite class of people who understand the importance and the impact that divers have on the ocean realm, and what they can do to preserve it for future generations.

All dives are guided by experienced Instructors or Divemasters that will first give you a detailed briefing, including detailed naturalist aspects, as well as point out the best things while guiding at each dive site. All guides carry surface marker buoys and storm whistles. Dives are planned using the Recreational Dive Planner and/or your dive computer.

With over 30 fantastic dive sites within 15 minutes travel from the resort, there are dives suitable for all experience levels. It adds to diver comfort that the dive boat is generally able to return to dock between most dives. The exception to this would be the two or three-tank trips to Verde Island. Asia Divers offers at least five scheduled dives a day leaving at approximately 8:00, 10:30, 13:30 and 16:00, with a choice of dive sites at each departure. The night dive departs around 18:00, generally to nearby Puerto Galera Bay.
